The Dragon Lives Again is a huge confusing casserole of HUH? And Frankenstein Island, while incredibly “jiggly”, is no more coherent than a drunken 7 year old (or so i am told). With the Two-Fer movie format solidly in place the Slow Robot team hops into their super fly van and rocks back to the 70s for a wild two-fer. They team kicks off the blast from the past with The Norliss Tapes. After that they walk down the path to swinging London baby YEAH! (that line should be read in Austin Powers voice). The house that dripped blood all over London. Listen, laugh and love won’t you? thank you.

Slow Robot A Go-Go Show 137 – Rolling Thunder AND Raw Deal

Tonight Dr. Morbius (from parts unknown) and mOw skip the top ten list gimmick and take on TWO movies. With the Two-Fer movie format solidly in place the Slow Robot team treads into undiscovered territory with 2 movies that are like ACTUAL MOVIES. The team kicks off the two-fer with a gritty look at live after a prison camp (one that isn’t run by nude female nazi as is our usual prison camp). After Tommy Lee goes kill crazy and that movie ends we blur the lines of insanity with an Arnold Classic that is often overlooked. Of course I am talking about Raw Deal. The biggest lessons we learned from Raw Deal are what the “P” for his middle name stands for, what fat cows produce most AND why you should not drink and bake. With the Two-Fer movie format solidly in place the Slow Robot team jumps back into the 1980’s with a very odd combo! First they review the ever confusing but funny Robo-C.H.I.C, does this robo-tale fit the robo-bill and provide lots of robo-laughs? Eh, robo-doubt-it but hey it is a fun little flick. After that mOw and Doc Morbius fall deep into the horrible radioactive future with this boob-less action movie? Lou flexes his mighty muscles and proves he is THEE Desert Warrior!
