Slow Robot A Go-Go Show 188 – The Roommates AND The Humanoid

Tonight Dr. Morbius (from parts unknown) and mOw talk about movies that they saw then jumped into this weeks movies. First up was a wacky casserole of a teem movie that didn’t know what it wanted to be. After layer upon layer of subplots are heaped into the crock pot of movie making magic what came out? After that the team took a saucy little jaunt to Italy to watch a plodding pointless little Star Wars ripoff called The Humanoid. Tons of potential with boringly train that couldn’t sensibility. After the team realizes they are being played by modern movie companies the go back to what they do best, talking about old movies. Kicking off the reviews with X The Man With X-ray Eyes, which was a fully Cormanized movie about a dude who experiments on himself to see like everything man! Then the team hops on the stinky smelly broken down bus to tour with the punk bands from Another State Of Mind. The team then reviewed the 1967 Hot Rods To Hell movie in which a team of insanely non-threatening teens torture a family of over actors. Was the pay off worth the scene chewingly bad acting? eh. After that they watched a confusing little horror flick with tons of 90s boob and some blood. Did the hot rods run the team into hell?
