Hey guys good episode. I’m gonna check out some tabletop indies. Sounds good, and to give my son something besides screen games to play.
Is Don reading the new Miracleman or Ronin 2? I’m digging those.
I’m reading Huckleberry Finn out loud to my kid so I can tone down and explain the racism as I go. I did that with Tom Sawyer too. I want him to know Twain and these stories but it’s a fine line. He was laughing so much at scenes like Tom playing with dead animals, which you know isn’t what we do today, but I guess what I’m saying is these works including Eisner have something to offer kids today as long as they’re aware and so on.
Hi Dan,
I have seen the new Miracleman series, but have not read it. I do like the covers. Not aware of a Ronin 2 book though.
I’m glad you are reading Mark Twain’s work to your son, and explaining the context along with it.
