Hope you like potty humor. For some reason, that seemed to be a running theme this week. Promee was half asleep through the entire show and Mow was making ‘valley girl’ comments like “EWWW!” and “Poopie”… OK, that last one wasn’t so much valley girl but still not something you expect out of Mow. Man-With-No-Name was here with more than his normal share of flair and we cleaned out the toppic phone – possibly a first! Anway, enjoy!
(Due to the weekend holiday, we did the show on Sunday this week.)
We started off this week talking about how we spent our holidays – even less interesting than it sounds. Promee suggested ever so slightly upping our production values while making us more friendly to new listeners. Once the laughter died down, we went on to the topic phone where we discussed such things as truth in advertising with allegedly “mind blowing deals”. Mow took a moment to morn the loss of his idol Billy Maes and to again talk about how unaffected he’s been by the passing of Michael Jackson. We also featured a parody song from our friends SciFried and an oldie but goodie from our friends in Japan, Petty Booka. All in all, it was a mind blowing show… Oh right, truth in advertising – it was a “mehhh” show. Enjoy!
The three core dorks were here tonight but somehow we were pretty Promee heavy as far as subject matter goes. We talked about his relationship anxieties, about how he was a “patrol officer” in elementary school and how he secretly finds North Korea’s treat to rain down on the U.S. a source of genuine humor. There was more stuff that wasn’t about Promee but since they left him here to write the notes, he’s going to refer to himself in the third person and make the show description all about him – enjoy!
Tonight it was the three amigos united again. Mow, Promee, and Man With Bad Back (aka Animal Lover, aka Man With No Name) were all here to talk about bald fashon statements, drunk camping, Jerry Springer and nobody reads this anyway. Am I right? Enjoy!
Again with the Couple of Dorks? Yep. MWNN was faking a cold and nobody else showed so Mow and Promee started talking about David Carridine (of Deathrace 2000 fame… says Mow) and his first tragic and then bizarre death. After that, Promee revealed a little bit of his plan to win singer Ingrid Michaelson over* and then we went to music break. When we came back, we talked about Fanboys, getting Rehriged, overtime at work and Mows love then hate of the return of vinyl… music.
*Seriously, Promee is not stalker crazy… honestly.

Tonight we began as just a couple of dorks with Mow and Promee in attendance but for the tail end, were joined by a BOD alumni that some of you may remember. We talked about the Mac/PC wars mostly because we had beer and that’s the kind of dork crap we dwell on after we start drinking and then shifted our focus to some other topics such as Jesus fish, the effects of religion on society and more light hearted fun. Give it a listen, oh won’t you?

Tonight it was the core Dorks on tap. We started in the middle of a conversation about afternoon TV as kids and then MWNN shared with us, one of his own personal What Would You Do moments. After that, we pretty much went to the toppic phone… and still haven’t cleared that little bad-boy out. Maybe next week. Anyway, enjoy!

Tonight we had Houston, D-Balls or just plain Balls. Call him whatever you want but he was on the show tonight! The other big news about tonight was that it was topic phone MANIA. That’s about it… Also, we heard another song from Shiraz Tilly tonight. You can find samples of her demo music (and purchase it) from iTunes here and you can find out more about her, here. BTW, in case anyone is wondering why we didn’t have a show last week, it’s because Promee opened up a can of pure awesomness last week by introducing Mow and MWNN to Battlestar Galactica! As a result, we were all too spent to do a show. Now you know.

Tonight me and Promee were runnin’ short as man-with-no-name came down with a bad case of I don’t wanna do the show. We visited the topic phone early and often and tackled such all time greats as, mOw hates fruit and sexting. We also revisited the Twitter and social media topic with some input from one of our listners… We had some names but she didn’t like them so till she gives us something better, we’ll call her “our friend in Alaska who is neither risque nor smuggling drugs across the border”. In all seriousness we appreciate the feedback. (hint, hint, hint) Also,we featured a new artist tonight!!!! Lets all give a warm BOD welcome to Shiraz Tilley, a new artist who hails from Australia and was kind enough to let us use her music on the show.
