Valerian was great, Luc Besson one of my favorite directors, producers ,writers with films like Angel-A, The Big Blue, From Paris with Love, The Family, and many others. I was able to see Valerian in 3D at our local Dollar Cinema (which is $4 bucks a person for 3D and 2 bucks for regular screenings)
