Dallas has been rereading The Sandman in anticipation of the upcoming Netflix series. Impossible Jones! , Chris Claremont, Alan Davis, The Strange Death Of Alex Raymond and Groo The Wanderer are discussed in the midsection, while Rook’s miniature painting and Fantastic Four 35 takes up the end.

Everything starts off with Star Wars Visions which leads into Kurosawa.films, Solo: A Star Wars Story and The Sandman, both the Netflix show and comics. Dredd, Pathfinder and a couple of recent comics that were based off work Don read in the seventies. It all ends with Cliff Chiang, as everything always should.

Storage for comics and magazines start the conversation off, but almost immediately goes into music, humor magazines and things that are hard to find. Then Al starts asking about comic book distribution and what past artists are doing now. Scott answered a couple, but not all.
This episode is so packed we didn’t stop for a music break. But we did talk about Pee Wee Herman, playing Dungeons And Dragons with Lego, Disney comics, comic book adaptations and outright swipes of other artist’s work. It ends with talk of The Sandman by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon.
Dallas and Don have read the All New X-Men Trade 1 and discuss their thoughts on the book through Skype. Don briefly talks about The Maxx, and brings up that he confused that character with The Goon and Lobo, only because they were big guys with four letter names.
